Haoxuan (Nick) Ma is a PhD student in Intelligent Transportation Systems at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research develops foundation-model and generative-AI methods for mobility data fusion, household-coordinated activity generation, and city-scale traffic simulation. Across transportation planning, safety, and policy applications, he builds scalable pipelines that connect AI methods with interpretable, real-world deployment.
